How-to Plan Your Kitchen Remodeling For The Holidays
The kitchen is the room that homeowners are most dedicated to renovating, specialy in the end of the year. This is because it's one of the busiest places in the house and needs special care, after all is the place where meals are prepared and and friends or family gather, so it is necessary that the space is pleasant and functional. Plus, there are always new design and decor trends that leave anyone wanting a renovation.
First of all: Set a budget
It is important to know how much money you will have available for this renovation and then know what kind of cost your project will face: low, low to medium, medium to high or high. Thus, you will have more clarity on how much you can spend to hire a company to do the service and how much you will have to buy the necessary materials and accessories.
Keep this in mind so that there are no mishaps in your renovation because of money. The more you have with this accurate information, the better.
Search a lot!
A great tip is to make a mood board. Search for kitchen on Google or Pinterest and save everything you like. There are a multitude of kitchens of different styles, it is important that you find what you like best and most importantly, know what you don't like at all. You can do this research on the internet or visit show rooms.
Always choose quality
If you have the money to choose the best products, do it. It is much better for you to value quality and choose the materials well, than to spend on low quality products and have to buy again or hire someone to do repairs. If your budget doesn't allow you to do this, look for second-hand items or evaluate what you already have. You can buy a cabinet from someone else and paint it or do it with the one that you already have, maybe it just needs a new paint job.
Plan your kitchen layout
This is a very important point. Now it's time to look at your current kitchen and see what works and what doesn't. In addition to being beautiful, your new kitchen needs to be practical and functional. There are 5 types of layout:
One-Wall Kitchen Layout
A kitchen design where all appliances, cabinets, and countertops are positioned along one wall is known as the one-wall layout.
Galley Kitchen Layout
In this design, two walls face each other and have all of the kitchen services. A galley kitchen may be open on both the remaining sides, allowing the kitchen to also serve as a passageway between spaces. Or, one of the two remaining walls can contain a window or exterior door, or it may be simply walled off.
L-Shaped Kitchen Layout
The L-shaped kitchen design plan is the most popular kitchen layout. This layout features two adjoining walls that meet in an L-shape. Both walls hold all the countertops, cabinets, and kitchen services, with the other two adjoining walls open.

Double-L Design Kitchen Layout
A highly evolved kitchen design layout, a double-L kitchen layout design allows for two workstations. An L-shaped or one-wall kitchen is augmented by a full-featured kitchen island that includes at least a cooktop, sink, or both. Two cooks can easily work in this type of kitchen.
U-Shaped Kitchen Design Layout
The U-shaped kitchen design plan can be thought of as a corridor-shape plan except that one end wall has countertops or kitchen services. The remaining wall is left open to allow access to the kitchen.
Final Considerations Before Renovation
It is important that you have a conversation with the company hired for the service and the designer, if you have hired one. After all, they are the professionals responsible for the service and no one better to answer questions and explain the renovation step by step, right? Keep in mind what you want, but be aware of the considerations that professionals have.
