From Postage Stamp Size to Perfection, this Reston Deck Remodel Is A Stunner

Our customers came to us knowing they wanted to expand their back deck into something that would allow for better entertaining; more specifically, an increase in square footage to allow for several seating areas, a full outdoor grill, and more. MOSS not only designed their new deck with all of this as a result, but added a unique and charming curved metal staircase to one end leading to the lower stone patio below (that boasts another seating area). With the addition of a full set of sliding glass doors to go along with the doorway to the original “postage stamp size” deck, the newly remodeled space is not only exactly what they wanted but much more, providing the outdoor living space they had always wanted in a beautiful way.
Performance
The design and execution of the deck were on time and met the expectations of our customers. The only delay occurred with the metal staircase due to supply chain issues. We kept the homeowners apprised of any updates and developments of the arrival of the staircase and eventual installation.
